Refugee children are above all survivors, each of them with a remarkable history of resilience in the face of great loss
The one thing that they all share is a very hard beginning to their lives, a excruciating vulnerability. They’ve know hunger, chaos, destruction, violence, loneliness, death and they had to fight very hard to survive. But when they are given a chance, they grow strong and stronger than most.
They fought against unbelievable challenges and survive incorporating the best that our world can achieve. They are impetuous, vibrant, and are ready to live. Came out of absolute desperation and are able to smile and go forward.
We shape our future by the way we raise our children and refugee children are the world’s children.
